Payment / Insurance

I currently accept Blue Cross/Blue Shield (BCBS) insurance products and private pay. I can also provide receipts that can be submit to your insurance company for reimbursement if you have out-of-network benefits.

  • Please call your insurance company to determine if you have out-of-network benefits for psychotherapy and what amount is reimbursable.

  • Co-pays, deductibles, and coverage vary with each insurance company; clients are responsible for understanding their own policies.

  • Questions to ask your insurance company:

    • Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?

    • How much does my plan cover for out-of-network providers?

    • How many sessions are covered, and under what time period?

    • Do I have an annual deductible, and has it been met?

    • Do I need authorization for outpatient mental health services?

    • What does my plan allow (“reasonable and customary”) for the following codes: 90791, 90837, and 90834?

    • How do I go about obtaining reimbursement?

    • What forms do I need to submit, where do I get them, and what information do I need to provide in order to be reimbursed?

  • Payment for services is due at the time service is rendered.


Rates

  • Initial telephone screening (10-15min) - free

  • Initial evaluation/intake (50-60 min) - $235

  • Psychotherapy session (45-55 min) - $200

  • Contracted consultation - $200/hr

  • Late cancellation or missed appointment - $200

Cancellation Policy

Your appointment time is a commitment and has been reserved specifically for you. Due to this, 24-hour notice is required for cancellation, except in the case of a weather emergency. Cancellation less that 24 hours in advance will be subject to the full session fee. Please note that I cannot bill insurance for sessions you don't attend.
